Our association board

We board members use our individual skills to run the school in a future-proof manner and in trusting cooperation with the children, the parents, the teachers and the school and management. The premise here is to create the most ideal learning atmosphere possible for all children. We are always open to your concerns, suggestions and wishes.

Focus of my work on the board: Human Resources and Organization

I am 43 years old and father of Henrik aus der Birke. My son Malte has been at the Montessori School for the last 4 years. From his development we could see very well the advantages of the school and learning concept of our school and we are happy that he can bring his experience in the secondary school.

Since 2017 I am responsible for the German business of a project developer for renewable energies for the development of photovoltaic ground mounted systems.

Focus of my work on the board: funding and subsidies

I am 47 years old and father of Max from the chestnut tree. From the first day, the community and the school concept convinced us and appealed to us. Our son finds the right approach here and can develop optimally.

Professionally, I work as Manager Customer Success for a large data centre operator and am responsible for its customers in Germany.

Focus of my work on the Board: Building Technology&Facility Management

I am 40 years young and father of Philipp from the chestnut tree. We have been at the Montessori School Wiesbaden since 2020 and are very happy to be able to pick up a happy and inquisitive child from school (almost) every day.

I studied business administration and found my professional home via detours in the field of energy and energy efficiency for industry and commerce. Today, I work for a large facility management service provider as a deputy department manager in this area.

Focus of my work on the Board: School funding

I am 38 years old. My children Annabell and Philine attend the Chestnut and Birch groups. Started in 2018 at the Montinis, they have now enjoyed many years at this school. As parents, we are very happy to have the opportunity to contribute with some tasks in the daily school life.

For more than three years now, I have been a member of the school’s IT team. My main occupation is materials science and I work for an automotive supplier as a department manager in the field of physical materials analysis.

Focus of my work on the Board: Website and IT infrastructure

I am 36 years old, married and have two children. My son Piet attends the second grade at Birke and feels very comfortable here. I would like to give something back to the school from this positive spirit.

My main job (commercial pilot for a large German airline) is not particularly useful, but my IT affinity is. After studying mechanical engineering, I built up an engineering office as a second mainstay and have a creative balance to flying with web design, software development and IT consulting.
