Funding programmes
Crowdfunding ESWE Osteraktion2024
We are taking part in the OSTER crowdfunding campaign organised by ESWE-Versorgung. From 08.04.24-04.05.2024 we are collecting money for the purchase of new picnic tables for our green classroom.
The green classroom is a learning concept in which our Monti pupils are taught outside the school building. Our recreational forest is then used as a learning environment. The concept offers us the opportunity to introduce the children to environmental education and sensitise them to sustainable action.
We have big plans and hope to generate the sum of 2,000 euros from supporters. ESWE is supporting the projects with 10 per cent of the target sum as start-up funding. For every 10 euros donated by the public, ESWE-Versorgung adds 10 euros from the funding pot. We are therefore dependent on the support of many sponsors in order to reach the target amount.
You can find more information about our project and support us on the ESWE Easter campaign website. It’s all or nothing! Only if we collect the full amount through donations will the money be paid out to us.

Crowdfunding 2024
In our endeavour to provide innovative learning resources, we are planning to purchase 15 iPads to enhance our students’ digital skills and give them access to new forms of interactive learning. This technology will be a valuable addition to our educational resources and will allow students to expand their creativity and knowledge in the digital world.
In order to realise this project, we have adopted a modern way of financing – crowdfunding. We have therefore decided to launch our campaign on the “Viele-schaffen-mehr.de” platform of Wiesbadener Volksbank.
Actively support our project by sharing information about it on your social networks and talking to family, friends and acquaintances to promote our project.

iPads für digitale Projekte
Montessori Schule Wiesbaden e.V.Kaufland donation campaign 2024
The “Every cent counts!” donation concept gives customers in over 770 Kaufland shops the opportunity to donate small amounts of cents to a social organisation in their region. From 1 to 31 January 2024, Kaufland customers can help decide which social organisation from the region will receive the donations collected in January. In addition, Kaufland will double the entire January donations!
This is how it works:
1. scan the “voting code” that you receive in January 2024 when you pay.
2. select the regional shop on the website.
3. vote for your favourite project.
We would like to make a contribution to further advancing digitalisation in order to avoid remaining in the European midfield.
In recent months, we have invested a lot of time and money in expanding our IT infrastructure to enable the integration of digital end devices as a supplement to analogue teaching. In our film project course “Monti goes to Hollywood”, the children are to give free rein to their creativity in the creation of short films and documentaries about school events. Ideas are developed together, from the script to the film editing. The pupils not only learn how to use the necessary technology, but also how to take on a role in the group. Our aim is also to train our pupils to become responsible recipients who know how to deal with media offerings in a reflective manner. With the board tools of an iPad, videos can be created very easily, quick and visible successes are achieved early on and motivate the children to delve further into the topic. In order to realise our project, we would like to purchase 10 iPads for our school.

Wish list application for the RMVsmiles fundraising campaign 2023
7 microscopes for our experimentation course
We have submitted our wish list application for the RMVsmiles fundraising campaign. The draw for the 30 institutions participating in the fundraising campaign took place at the beginning of November and the Montessori School Wiesbaden was selected.
From 1 December, ESWE customers can find out more about the organisations at smiles.www.rmv.de and decide which of the 30 Wish Barometers the Smiles collected will be donated to. If a wish barometer is full, the respective organisation will receive €1,000 to fulfil a wish. Further information can be found on the RMV smiles website.
Our wish for our application:
Magnifying devices such as microscopes open the door to an infinitely large world of molecular biology and provide a captivating insight into biology. The children are introduced to scientific work. In microscopy, they make their own specimens and then examine them under the microscope. They learn how to work with the cross table, various objectives and lighting. The result is an impressive and lasting learning experience in the fields of biology, optics and mechanics.
We would like to have 7 microscopes so that the children can carry out their experiments in pairs.
We have made it! Thanks to the help of many supporters who donated their smile bonus points to our project. At the end of December, we received the news that our barometer had reached 100% and that our school could look forward to receiving 1,000 euros for the purchase of new microscopes.
Many thanks to everyone who voted for us and cheered us on to reach the full amount.

Förderpenny programme 2023
Participation in the Förderpenny Program 2023
The Montessori School Wiesbaden applied for the Penny program with the acquisition of a low ropes course for our break forest.
At the end of May, we learned that we were selected as one of 2 finalists from our neighborhood region. We have a chance to be your Förderpenny winner. Because once again this year, PENNY is supporting organizations and associations from all over Germany that help children and young people with its “Förderpenny” project. And we are one of them!
As one of 700 organizations, we have already won €1,000 in prize money – and now we are competing for a year’s funding in the big customer vote.
From 21.08.2023 to 10.09.2023, the voting for our project will take place online at www.penny.de. You can vote for us once per day.
Our project idea:
The trees will be connected with steel cables and small platforms for the climbing course. This creates connections between the trees on which the children can balance without contact with the ground. The low ropes course is a great way for our students to satisfy their need for movement, play and excitement during our experiential education program. In mastering tasks, they recognize their abilities and develop confidence in themselves and their classmates. Learning processes are set in motion and the children can develop personality and initiative.
Thanks to your support, we were able to take first place with our project and win the annual customer donations from the PENNY stores in our neighbourhood region. We would like to thank everyone who took part in the voting and we are delighted to be able to make the necessary purchases.
