Our Association Board

We, the members of the board, use our individual skills to run the school in a future-proof manner and in trusting cooperation with the children, parents, teachers and management. The premise here is to create the most ideal learning atmosphere possible for all children. We are always open to your concerns, suggestions, and requests.

On 26 October 2025, the board was newly elected and is composed of the following individuals:

    Stefan Reckling

    Stefan Reckling

    Chairman of the Board

Focus of my work on the board: Funding and subsidies

At 48 years of age, I bring not only extensive professional experience to my role as Chair of the Board of the Montessori School Wiesbaden, but also a deep appreciation for Montessori education. From the very beginning, my wife and I were deeply impressed by the community and the school concept.

Professionally, I work as a customer success manager for a large data centre operator and am responsible for its customers in Germany.

    Jan Weber

    Jan Weber

1st Deputy Chair of the Board

Focus of my work on the board: N. N.

I am 50 years old and was elected 1st Deputy Chair of the Board in November 2025. As a financial specialist and solicitor, I contribute my personal and professional experience to provide sustainable support for the school.

I am particularly committed to creating an appreciative learning atmosphere in which children can learn through independent activity and age-appropriate materials. Maria Montessori’s guiding principle of seeing the child as an active shaper of their own development is a guiding principle for me: we accompany children instead of directing them. In addition to my role as a father, I am committed to transparent communication between parents, teachers and the board, as well as to specific projects for school development.

I am 42 years young and mother to Lea, who is now starting first grade after two wonderful years at Montinis. Previously, I served as a parent representative for two years and as deputy parent representative for one year.

Professionally, I work as a general practitioner in Wiesbaden and am therefore confronted with the various problems of life on a daily basis.

Focus of my work on the board: Website and IT infrastructure

My daughter Mila is in the second year of the Opal Group and feels very much at home here. I would like to give something back to the school in return for this positive spirit.

While I work as a commercial pilot, I mainly contribute my IT expertise to the board. After studying mechanical engineering, I set up an engineering firm as a second source of income and found a creative and inventive balance to flying in web design, software development and IT consulting.

Focus of my work on the board: N. N.

I am the mother of Noah (Amethyst) and Paul and Luis (Montinis) and am delighted to be involved in the Monti Board. As a doctor, I am particularly concerned about the physical and mental health of children.

I am involved in the board because I think it’s great that every child is seen at the school and given the space to develop their own personal potential at their own pace.

Focus of my work on the board: Building technology & facility management

I am the father of Lio from the Opal Group. Every child is a genius and can learn this independently and at the right time for individual learning with a great community at this school.

Our son enjoys going to school every day and benefits from a great learning environment and support from teachers and classmates.

As an environmental engineer, I have gained a lot of professional experience in recent years in construction projects, building maintenance and building services engineering for public buildings.

Focus of my work on the board: IT and digitalisation

I am 40, married and the father of three children. Our daughters are in the Opal Group and the Montinis. Our children enjoy going to school and have many wonderful experiences there.

As a member of the board, I am primarily responsible for IT and digitalisation. It is particularly important to me that children learn how to use digital media in a playful, safe and child-friendly way. With projects such as equipping the school with iPads, I have been able to help make learning even more exciting and enable children to discover digital media in a responsible way.

Through my work as managing director of riomar GmbH, I also bring experience with digital solutions and technologies, which I am happy to contribute to the further development of the school.
