On 15.07.23 we celebrated our summer party with the students and their parents, the Monti team and guests. This year we were especially happy to see many former students again. It is always a warm feeling to know that people are still visiting the Monti even after many years. All kinds of highlights were to be found on our colourful programme. With culinary support from the Monti parents and the food truck of our school chef Tobi Jahn, the physical well-being of the guests was taken care of
With coffee and cake or hearty meals, the sunshine initially invited to linger and visit the little forest. Once again, there was a lot to experience for the youngest guests. In addition to the performance of the artistry group, this year’s programme also included the performance of a shadow theatre. This had been eagerly rehearsed during the previous project week. Like last year, our sponsored run was a focal point of the festival. This year all the children of the school wanted to run for the sum of 7600 Euros for a swing ropeway and four relaxation loungers for their beloved little forest. Sponsors were diligently sought in the run-up to the event. Unfortunately, the weather let us down a bit this year, so the sponsored run could only take place for a short time. We are all very happy that despite the adverse conditions, the eager runners managed to bring the required amount of money for the desired purchases to the finish line. What an extraordinary achievement!
Thanks to many helping hands, it was a successful festival despite the weather situation. A big thank you to everyone who planned and organised our festival!
