Animals in winter

Hibernation and Rigor mortis

Many animals have to hibernate in the cold months of the year and cannot, for example, fly to warmer regions like migratory birds. They have to find other solutions. Some animals grow thick fur to protect them from the cold. Others hide in caves, tree trunks or buildings. They move only a little or not at all. In this way, they save energy and need much less food

Our preschool children learned the differences between the terms hibernation, hibernation and hibernation and then assigned familiar animal pictures to them on the blackboard. Worksheets and colouring pictures were not to be missed. With joy, they cut, made and painted and learned about nature with interest and enthusiasm.
