City Marathon
Last Friday the event weekend in Wiesbaden started with the City Marathon, for the first time with a school class run. The Montessori School Wiesbaden gladly accepted the invitation, which was extended to all Wiesbaden schoolchildren aged 6-16. Our Monti runners have been training determinedly and tirelessly for the marathon in physical education lessons over the last few weeks. Well prepared, around 50 children from our school started on the 3 or 5 kilometre course. The start and finish were directly on the Bowling Green. The course led via Christian-Zais-Straße into the Kurpark and followed the running paths in the park. After crossing the finish line, all the children received a medal in recognition of their performance
Tired and happy, everyone made their way back to school.
